Phew it's been a long while! This is going to be a very self indulgent snapshoty post, so bare with me. I have way too many photos to whittle them down to one post's worth, so here we are in week one: the week where nothing much happened. Lisi went to school, the brave girl. It went so much better than last year, instead of being the youngest in the class this time she was one of the oldest. She seemed happier and so much more confident making a gaggle of girl friends almost straight away.
We were extremely lucky to be able to stay in my parent's neighbour's beautiful cottage, one straight out of the pages of a glossy magazine. No matter how long I've been away, and no matter that my parents no longer live where I grew up, visiting still feels like going home. I guess it always will.
